Positive: Très jolie lieux bien placé dans une ruelle très calme et typique Negative: Nous étions 4 et au lieux de nous donner la chambre de 4 uniquement il nous ont donné une chambre de 2 supplémentaires ce qui nous a coûté cher!

My friend and I had a wonderful 4 days at Enso Machiya! We loved the location and quality of the space, bedding and amen Positive: Beautifully designed and appointed. Loved the quaint and interesting neighborhood, and all the staff were excellent and very helpful. Negative: Nothing I didn’t like.

Amazing stay in Kyoto - can't wait to go back! Positive: Incredible stay in Kyoto - one of our favorites in Japan. Our room was comfortable and roomy, and the location was excellent - you feel much more local in this neighborhood. The staff was the best part - incredibly helpful when our luggage got lost and very welcoming. I would stay again in a heartbeat! Negative: Nothing - an incredible stay!

Beautiful, large room blending Japanese and Scandinstyle. Not cheap, but luxurious. Positive: Beautiful room, very large by Japanese standards. Amazing deep wooden bath Duvet bedding - soft and comfortable We left something behind and staff were proactive in trying to reunite us with the item Negative: Email comms with room access codes A little bit of road noise Would have liked to have stayed longer - but expensive room rate.

Positive: Leo was the only staff member we talked with during our stay (we had early mornings or late nights), and he was so helpful! Thank you Leo!
